Extruded aluminum Z-clips that work as a French cleat — one half fixes to the panel, the other to the wall, and the panel drops on. Each pack contains two pairs, which is what one panel needs.
What this is for
Impaling clips hold a panel by pressing prongs into its back. A French cleat instead hangs the panel on an interlocking aluminum rail, which gives you three things prongs don't: the panel sits flush and dead level, it carries more weight, and it lifts straight off the wall whenever you want it down.
That makes Z-clips the better choice for heavier panels, for anything you may want to remove intact, and for installs where a visibly crooked panel would bother you.
