Shipping Policy
We ship directly from our manufacturers' facilities to your door. That means faster delivery and no warehouse markup — but it also means an order with items from more than one category will arrive in separate shipments, on different days, often by different carriers.
This is normal and doesn't mean anything is missing. Each shipment is tracked separately and we'll send tracking for every one.

Lead times
Each product page shows an estimate for that item. Broadly:
Home theater seating — most models are in stock. Typically ships within a few business days, with 1–2 weeks in transit depending on your location. The freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment.
Star ceiling panels — typically ships within a week.
Acoustic treatment — standard finishes ship in 3–5 business days. Custom and made-to-order finishes take approximately 3–4 weeks to produce before shipping.
Soundproofing materials — typically ships within a week.
Cinema carpet — cut to order. Allow 2–3 weeks from order to delivery.
Theater lighting — handcrafted to order. Typically 2–3 weeks before shipping.
These are manufacturer estimates, not guarantees. If a manufacturer tells us your order is delayed, we'll tell you the same day. We'd rather give you bad news early than leave you wondering.
How freight delivery works
Seating, carpet, and larger acoustic orders ship by freight carrier rather than UPS or FedEx. If you haven't received a freight delivery before, here's what to expect:
- The carrier calls you to schedule a delivery window, usually a few days ahead. We need a working phone number on every order — carriers will not deliver without being able to reach you.
- Delivery is curbside. The driver brings the shipment to the back of the truck; getting it into your house is your responsibility.
- You'll need to inspect and sign for the delivery. See our Damage & Freight Claims page — this part matters, please read it before your delivery arrives.
Cinema carpet — please read before ordering
Carpet ships as a 13'6"-wide roll on a freight truck. A roll for a theater room is heavy and awkward, and:
- There is no inside delivery and no white glove service available for carpet
- A liftgate does not help with a roll this size
- You are responsible for unloading the roll from the truck
Plan to have two or three people available, or arrange for your installer to receive the delivery. Most customers have their carpet installer take delivery directly.
Where we ship
Contiguous United States — all products.
Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories — please contact us before ordering. Some items can be shipped with additional freight; others can't be shipped at all. We'll give you a straight answer and an accurate quote.
International — we don't currently ship outside the United States.
Residential and limited-access addresses — freight carriers add surcharges for residential delivery and for locations they classify as limited access. Where possible these are included in your quote at checkout. For carpet, they're included in your freight quote.
Multiple shipments
If your order includes items from more than one category, expect:
- Separate shipments arriving on different days
- Different carriers for different items
- Separate tracking numbers, sent as each item ships
Your order confirmation lists what's coming from where. If you'd prefer everything to arrive together, tell us — we can sometimes hold shipments to coordinate, though it usually means waiting on the slowest item.
Order changes and address corrections
Contact us immediately if you need to change a shipping address. Once a manufacturer has released a shipment, address changes are handled by the carrier and often carry a fee.
We can't ship to PO boxes. Freight carriers require a physical street address.
Tracking
You'll get a tracking number by email as each item ships. Freight shipments update less frequently than parcel shipments — sometimes only at pickup and delivery. If tracking looks stalled for more than a couple of days, email us and we'll chase the carrier directly.
Questions before you order
If you're not sure how something will ship, what it'll cost to get to you, or whether you can receive a freight delivery at your address — ask us first.
