What this fixes

The floor is the biggest surface in the room, and in a theater it's doing more work than people expect: hiding spills in the dark, absorbing a little reflection, and setting the tone before the projector is even on.

Admit One handles the practical side like any large-scale printed nylon — soil and traffic lanes vanish into the motif — and it commits harder than most on the theming. That's the point of it.

Four colors, and how hard each one commits

Black is the most restrained — the motif reads as tonal texture until you're standing on it. Burgundy is the traditional picture-palace choice and the most classically cinematic. Brown warms the room and suits leather seating. Blue is the coolest and the most contemporary of the four.

If you want the theming to whisper rather than shout, take Black. If the room is meant to be fun, take Burgundy.

Why theater carpet, not household carpet

Residential carpet is built for foot traffic in a hallway. Theater carpet is built for a room where people eat, drink and spill in the dark, then leave the same chairs parked in the same spots for years.

Fire rating — read this if you're finishing a basement

Class 1 fire rated and CRI Green Label Plus certified for low VOC emissions.

If your theater is in a finished basement or anywhere subject to inspection, this matters — many residential carpets are not Class 1. Building codes vary by jurisdiction and are applied inconsistently, so confirm with your local fire marshal or building inspector before installing. We can supply the manufacturer's test documentation on request.

Shipping

Broadloom ships on a 13'6" wide roll and moves as freight, not parcel. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address and the quantity you order.

Before you order

Order the whole room at once. Carpet is dyed in batches, and a roll cut from a later production run will not match exactly. Ordering the full quantity in one go is the only way to guarantee a consistent floor.

Add for pattern match and waste. A patterned carpet has to line up across a seam, so the usable yardage is less than the raw square footage of your room. Tell us your dimensions and we'll do the takeoff properly rather than have you guess.
